In this section, you will find short videos describing each candidate for the third constituency (Northern Europe).
Following the reform of its constitution in July 2008, France has representatives for its citizens living abroad at l’Assemblée Nationale. First elected during the 2012 legislative elections, the 11 MPs represent the different parts of the world where French citizens are living.
We focused on the Northern Europe constituency (the Third one) where most of the candidates are based in London. It includes the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Nordic and Baltic countries.
The former MP was Axelle Lemaire, a member of the former socialist government.
The newly elected MP is Alexandre Holroyd, representative of La République En Marche (Emmanuel Macron’s movement).
